Rodney Ward


  • Rodney Ward was Chairman Asia-Pacific Global Corporate and Investment Banking at BAML from July 2012 to April 2015 when he stepped down to focus on his personal Asian Investments. These include a peer to peer lending platform in HK and a PRC focused debt advisory and execution business supported by a lending PRC private sector group. He is also Chairman of the funds managed by Rays Capital, a HK based asset management group.
  • Rodney’s Asian background dates from May 1994 when he removed to assume the Chairmanship of SG Warburg’s Asia Pacific business. He was subsequently appointed Chairman Asia-Pacific of Swiss Bank Corporation’s regional business. In February 2000, he re-joined UBS, which had acquired SBC as Chairman of the group’s Asian business. In this capacity, he held the team which was responsible for the restructuring and IPO of the Bank of China (HK Ltd), the prototype for the restructuring of China’s banking industry. He subsequently led the restructuring and IPO of the Bank of China which at the time was the largest ever IPO by a financial group. He also led the team which, in conjunction with the PBOC and the CSRC, designed the QFII scheme which permitted international investors to buy domestics PRC shares.
  • Rodney was BA at Cambridge University and attended Yale Law School and is a qualified solicitor in UK.

David Dela Cruz


  • David has over 24 years of relevant finance experience having been a former investment in banking executive at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (HK Ltd). He was formerly the CFO of Atlas Mining and Development Corp and was a risk officer at BDO. 
  • David attended the M&A program at Stanford University and has a MBA from the De la Salle University. David is Certified Public Accountant and placed 9th in the 1987 CPA licensure examinations. He was previously an audit staff with SGV and Company.
